How It All Began…
How It All Began…
At age 15, my community was devastated by a major flood. Many families—including mine—lost nearly everything. The stress from that event affected my father deeply, and he passed away a few years later. Experiencing firsthand how disasters can shatter lives shaped my desire to contribute to solutions that protect people and communities.
EarthNumerics grew out of years of work in surveying, mapping, and digital image processing, driven by a commitment to addressing the growing challenges of climate-related disasters. Today’s cities face more frequent and intense hazards, and traditional data sources—like satellite and aerial imagery—are often delayed when rapid decisions are needed. Drones offer a faster and more flexible alternative, providing timely, high-resolution images before and after disaster events.
Instead of spending weeks manually assessing damage, we use deep learning to quickly analyze images, extract critical features, and classify damage. EarthNumerics exists to close the gap between disaster and response. By combining drone data with advanced analytics, we help communities act faster, recover sooner, and build long-term resilience.
